He has maintained his real estate broker's license in Florida for twenty-five years and in Georgia for six years. Prior to his career in mortgage financing, Jim owned Appraisal House in Fort Walton Beach, Florida for seven years, where he performed both commercial and residential appraising.
Jim was on the Architectural Review Committee for the Thirteen Hundred Subdivision in Blairsville, Georgia, and a member of Leadership Tampa Bay for six years. He currently resides in Ellijay, GA with his wife Melinda, their dog, four children and five grandchildren. Jim was a Tampa Bay Rough Rider for eight years and in his free time he enjoys listening to music.
