Rick Darlington is the Senior Vice President/Area
Manager for Northwest Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Rick and his
team provide their clients with the utmost professional and enjoyable mortgage
experience possible. With over 28 years in the mortgage industry, Rick is a
recognized leader with expertise in origination, management and industry
advocacy.
Rick is highly active and
influential within several industry organizations. He currently serves as
President of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia for the 2025-2026
term. Rick served as President of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia
for 2017-2018 and is a Past President of the Atlanta Mortgage Bankers
Association as well. Rick served on the Steering Committee of the Unified State
Test for the Conference of State Bank Supervisors and The SAFE Act and is
currently a Residential Loan Production Committee member for the Mortgage
Bankers Association. Rick has earned several recognitions, including being
awarded the 2007 Atlanta Board of Realtors Lender of the Year and the Mortgage
Bankers Association of Georgia Lender of the Year Award in both 2009 and 2025.
